All tech support could tell me is their device is not compatible with the camera on the presenter. Hauppajge you hquppauge the wrong standard set, you will likely get no video at all since the USB-Live2 won’t be able to make any sense out of the incoming video signal. Simple and easy to use. They used to default to 25fps. It lets you send 30 digital images per second over the USB 2. Used it to convert Hauppuage home videos to video.
It was recognized straight away and after plugging in an NTSC composite signal with left and right audio, it worked just fine. Makes me wonder why and what it is doing.
Never did yauppauge before installing. Turns out its DV implementation is non-standard and is only supported in very old versions of Linux. It’s best to make it the only USB device on the system. We need to figure out where the USB-Live2’s sound hardware is before we can test sound.
As for visual quality – The results look better to me livs2 when I was using the ilink cable – much to my pleasant surprise. The Win 7 software is a good idea but freezes the computer.
